AWS CloudFormationのサンプルテンプレのWordPress BlogはSSH接続できない

タイトルで言い切った。

テンプレートでWordPress Blogを選択すると一瞬で起動するので大喜びしたのもつかの間で英語表記にゲンナリして日本語化を目指すにはSSH接続が必要になるけどKey Pairを指定するところがない。なんとかならないものかと調べていると

The simple template available in the console does not provide SSH access to the instance. We chose to make the sample templates available through the console as simple as possible.

If you go to the AWS CloudFormation template library you will see a WordPress single instance template that does have SSH access - you will need to provide the name of an existing Amazon EC2 KeyPair.

お手軽版だから、SSHなんて難しいものはダメダメらしい。

テンプレライブラリを眺めると「米国東部（バージニア北部）リージョンで起動」となっている。東京リージョンで構築したいんだよ、、、すべてのサンプルテンプレを一括DLできるので試したら多すぎてわからん。

テンプレから改造？

WordPressの単一 EC2 インスタンスとローカル MySQL データベースから保存する・・・が、便利なAWS CloudFormation サンプルテンプレート – アジアパシフィック（東京）リージョンを発見したので改造しない。
