はじめてのMDT2010：その5

MDT2010

ここでやっとMDT2010をインストールする。
　
Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2010
（2009/09/11では英語版しかないけど、そのうち日本語版が出るでしょう）
　
ちょいとポイントなのが、MDT2010でWindowsAIK（Windows Automated Installation Kit）がセットアップできるところ。
手動で先にインストールすると何かしらややこしいことになる。先に入れてしまった場合は全て（フォルダも）削除しないと解決しなかった。

Deployment WorkbenchのComponents

スタート＞すべてのプログラム＞Microsoft Deployment Workbench
Information Center＞Components
MDTで使いそうなソフト一覧が表示される。

最低限必要なやつ

  • MSXML 6.0
  • Windows Automated Installation Kit（サーバと同じ）

MSXMLは事前に入れておいたので「Installed」に表示された。
　
Available for DownloadでWindowsAIKを選択して「Download」（時間が掛かる、%で進行状況が出る）
　

Deployment Shareの作成

とりあえず「D:\DeploymentShare」を作成しておくことを強く勧める。
　
「New Deployment Share」で開始する。

  • Deployment Share path:D:\DeploymentShare
  • Share name:DeploymentShare$
  • Deployment share description:MDT Deployment Share（ここはテキトー）
  • Allow Image Capture:uncheck
  • Allow Admin Password:uncheck
  • Allow Product Key:uncheck

だらだらーっと始まる。
　
完了後にいくつかフォルダが完成している

  • Applications
  • Operating Systems
  • Out-of-Box Drive
  • Packages
  • Task Sequences
  • Advanced Configuration

　
目的はSQL Serverを使うことなので、まだイメージの追加とかしない。
　

Databases

Deployment Workbench＞Deployment Shares＞Advanced Configuration＞Database
「New Database」を選択して「New DB Wizard」を始める

SQL Server Details
  • SQL Server name：ss2008（サーバマシンのホスト名）
  • Instance:(省略可らしい。SQL Server 2005で設定した「SQLEXPRESS」を入力）
  • Port：（省略可らしい。SQL Server 2005でALL指定した「1433」を入力）
  • Network Library：TCP/IP Sockets

この設定でエラーが出るなら、SQL Server 2005側のTCP/IP周りの設定が悪いと思う。

Database

最初は「Create a new database」を選択して「ss2005_mdt」とか。
設定をやり直したいときは「Use an existing database that already contains the required tables and view」で作成済みのDatabaseを選択する。
　

SQL Share

いまだによく分からない。

In order to make a SQL Server connection using Windows integrated security from Windows PE, it may be necessary to first establish a secure connection to the server. This is done by mapping a drive to the server.  Specify the name of an existing share on the server that can be used to make this mapped drive connection.

Databasesにデータ入力

Roles＞Locations＞Computersの順番に作成すると楽。

コンピュータの型番のグループと思い込んで作成する
Role name:FMV-x8600とか

Details
機種固有の情報を設定

  • BitsPerPel:32
  • Vrefresh:60
  • Xresolution:1024
  • Yresolution:768
