Ghostにネットワークドライバを読み込ませて起動する

Ghost Windows PE

GhostってPE2.0でvista用ドライバを用意しないとネットワーク関係を利用できない。最近のドライバはvista用なんて用意していないので頭を抱えていた。

2014-07-04 カスタムWinPE3.0の作成手順

PE3.0を使っている。おなじ要領でwin10対応のPE5.0もできるんじゃまいか？ということで挑戦してみます。

作成するのはサーバ（って書いてるけど、普通のWin8.1）で、起動ディスクを利用したいのはノートのLenovoX250

事前準備１

①PEはWin10用なのでノートのOSとは関係なしにWin10用のNICドライバを探す。ちなみにノートはUEFIブートでWin8.1の64bit

②Windows AIKではなくて、Windows Driver KI(WDK)10をサーバにインストール

Windows 10 用のキットとツールのダウンロード
サーバにVisual Studio Community 2015を入れる
サーバにWindows Driver Kit (WDK)
・・・これだけですごい時間を食う

事前準備２

①ISOファイルをマウントするフリーウェア　Alcohol 52% Free Edition
使うのかわからんけど、入れようとしたけどWin8.1には入らなかった

②VMware Workstation Playerの12

Ghost入りWindows PE2.0を作成し、Ghost部分を抜き出す

以前にUSBブートのPE2.0を作成済みでメモリも残してあるので利用する。
・・・isoをマウントってあるけど、USBに入れているからghostフォルダをコピペするだけでよいのか。過去にCD/DVDなどに作成済みならOKってことかな？

Windows Driver KI(WDK)10じゃなかった！・・・Windows ADKだった

Windows ADKのはなし

Windows 10 用のキットとツールのダウンロードの下の方にADKがある。
スタートメニューのグループは「Windows Kits」になる。しかもADKって名前はない。

Ghost入りWindows PE3.0の作成

①Windows PE Tools起動
スタート＞アプリ（すべてのプログラム）＞Windows Kits＞展開およびイメージングツール環境　右クリック「管理者として実行」
コマンドプロンプトが起動する

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools>

②カスタムWinPE作業フォルダの作成
幻のコマンド、コピペを入れる

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools>copype
Creates working directories for WinPE image customization and media creation.

copype { amd64 | x86 | arm | arm64 } <workingDirectory>

 amd64             Copies amd64 boot files and WIM to <workingDirectory>\media.
 x86               Copies x86 boot files and WIM to <workingDirectory>\media.
 arm               Copies arm boot files and WIM to <workingDirectory>\media.
 arm64             Copies arm64 boot files and WIM to <workingDirectory>\media.
                   Note: ARM/ARM64 content may not be present in this ADK.
 workingDirectory  Creates the working directory at the specified location.

Example: copype amd64 C:\WinPE_amd64

やってみる

③WinPE基本イメージ"Winpe.wim"を"Boot.wim"に名前を変えてコピーする
これができない。

このあたりで詰まる。

事件

管理者必携のトラブルシューティングツール「Windows PE 5.0」の起動用USBメモリを作成する (1/2)

通常のWindows OSと違い、64bit版のWindows PEでは32bit版のアプリケーションを実行できないという制約がある。Windows PEではWOW64は実装されていないからだ（WOWについては連載「64bit Windows時代到来」を参照のこと）。標準以外のツール（自分で用意した32bit版のWindows向けのツールなど）をWindows PE環境で利用するつもりなら、32bit版のWindows PEにしておいた方が無難である。

Ghostって32bitだよね？64bitじゃダメだね！
